Senate Passes Netflix-Backed Revision Of Privacy Law, Paving Way For Facebook Sharing

On the one hand, hooray, social networking!  On the other hand, privacy!  Which is more important to you?

Seems to me, the trick to getting that algorithm all tidied up and to opening up social networking marketing channels in the interest of the almighty profit is to just get the law changed.

Is it still such a good idea?
